History of Brand

The SAMA (Salvatori Marino Costruzioni Elettromeccaniche - Milano) has produced in the 70s three models of lever machines for domestic use but with professional features: Export model with the unmistakable square vertical shape and  the Lusso model  with horizontal shape.

 Export model has closed boiler and lever actuated by a spring. Made with high quality materials, including brass and painted steel sheet, is also equipped with pressurestat and water level indicator. Is not missing even a practice higher grid for warming the cup.

 Lusso model, represent the top of the range, have the characteristic system to operating heater, in the sense that hot water circulates in the group taking it immediately to the right temperature (as radiator). 

Brand SAMA ended production several years ago. 

 Ponte Vecchio s.r.l.  in 90s has resumed production of the models Export and Lusso, with the same characteristics of the originals.

In 90' the company Pontevecchio under the direction of Mr. Lella that will maintain the high standards of quality, which make them unique coffee machines Sama/Pontevecchio.
